As the original designer and manufacturer of the popular grey junction boxes previously known as Wagobox®, Connexbox® has confirmed that the products are not being discontinued. Instead, they are being renamed and will now be sold under their own brand name, Connexbox®.
This move marks a strategic decision by the UK based company to operate independently. After 17 years of designing and manufacturing the widely used and highly regarded grey enclosures, Connexbox® is now taking full control of its own product line and future direction.
“Connexbox® Ltd was founded by electrician Ray Brewer, who designed the very first grey enclosure with the sole aim of making things simpler, quicker and safer for electricians on site,” says Helen Mole, Head of Marketing at Connexbox®. “Since then, Ray has designed an additional six enclosures, and we’re proud to now supply them under our own brand name, Connexbox®. They’re the same trusted enclosures, made by the same team, to the same high standards. The only change is the name.”
As part of this exciting new chapter, Connexbox® is proud to introduce its latest innovation: the Connexbox® JBX Pro enclosure. Featuring versatile cable grippers, a convenient lift-up end-opening, and full BS EN 7671 compliance, the JBX Pro is designed for electricians who want to work faster, safer, and with complete confidence. This transition gives Connexbox® the freedom to drive innovation, deliver more responsive technical support, and build stronger, more direct relationships with the wholesalers and electricians.
